We have some great clients, and we are so thankful that they put the health and welfare of their special family pet members with us. Everyone here will do our best to help with your pet’s needs whether beginning as a puppy, kitten, or senior citizen. We have been so blessed to have very caring, competent, and responsible staff, both now and in the past.

Dr. Haylee Brown
Dr. Haylee Brown graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Haylee has been practicing veterinary medicine in West Tennessee since 2013 and in Martin since 2016. She bought Hooks Pet Clinic in March of 2021. Dr. Brown lives in Martin with her husband, son, four dogs, and one cat. She loves all companion animals and treats them as her own. Her professional interests include ultrasonography and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, kayaking, fishing, traveling and reading.
Parker Albright, DVM
Dr. Parker Albright graduated from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Parker grew up on a farm in Obion, TN which sparked her interest in veterinary medicine at a young age. While she does love her cows and horses, she is excited to get to take care of the small companion animals we see here at Hooks! When she’s not at work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her fiancé, being outdoors, and eating lots of good food!
Sarah Elizabeth Walton, LVMT, Head Tech
Sarah is our Head Licensed Veterinary Technologist and has been with us since 2016. She graduated from UT Martin Veterinary Technology Program in 2017. Sarah excels in emergency medicine and neonatal care. She has four dogs (Nala, Alice, Hercules, and Indra) and three cats (Ariel, Anna, and Lilo). In her free time she enjoys reading, binge watching TV shows, and spending time with her fiancé.
Savanna Vandusen, LVMT
Savanna is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technologist and has been with us since 2018. She graduated from UT Martin Veterinary Technology Program in 2021. Savanna excels in canine and feline behavior and Anesthesiology. She has 5 dogs, 5 cats, and many chickens. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening and homesteading, crafting, and spending time with her husband.
Jennifer Mansfield, LVMT
Jennifer Mansfield is the first person you meet when entering our clinic. She is our Head Receptionist as well as being a registered Veterinary Technician and a graduate of UT Martin Vet Tech program. Jennifer has been with Hooks since 2014. She enjoys crafting, reading, D&D, and gaming.
Shelby Fernimen
Shelby is a full-time assistant and has been with us since 2021. She is currently enrolled in a Vet Tech Program working towards her degree and license. Shelby excels at building relationships with patients and hospital care. She has 3 dogs (Raleigh, Lucy, and Eve) and far too many cats to name. In her free time she enjoys her annual shark tagging trip with her family, fishing, reading, and is only slightly obsessed with Golden Retrievers.
Mary Gallimore, LVMT
Mary is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technologist and has been with us since 2020. She graduated from UT Martin Veterinary Technology Program in 2023. Mary excels in hospitalized patient care and client education. She has two dogs (Sam and Webber) and a cat (Crazy). In her free time she enjoys reading, kayaking, painting, and spending time with her husband.
Destiny Wiggins
Destiny is a part-time receptionist and has been with us since 2023. She is currently a student at UT Martin in the Veterinary Technology Program. Destiny excels with client communication and building new patient and client relationships. She has a dog (Kash) and a rabbit (Kookie). She is originally from Orlando, Florida and in her free time enjoys playing video games, dancing, and listening to music.
Noah Young
Noah is a part-time assistant and began working with us in 2024. He is currently enrolled in UT Martin pursuing a Pre-Veterinary and Vet Tech degree. Noah excels in patient care with his willing attitude to learn and help anywhere he is needed. He has one dog (Tilly Jean). In his free time he enjoys fishing and clay target shooting.
Mary Pitts
Mary is a part-time assistant and has been with us since 2023. She is currently enrolled at UT Martin pursuing a Pre-Veterinary degree. Mary excels in patient care and helping in all areas with her bubbly personality. She has one dog (Hershey) and one cat (Scratch). In her free time she enjoys being involved in her sorority, hanging out with her boyfriend, and is in love with the color pink.
